This event will provide an excellent opportunity to present and discuss the main policy drivers of the digital transformation of European industry and society. It will also present how the EU research and innovation agenda can best contribute to these objectives. The Digital Excellence Forum will feature a conference session on the complementary role of research and digital policy, with the participation of high-level experts on the subject. The session’s objective is to show the importance of research and innovation policy on the European level for the industry to take up new technologies, reinforce its competiveness and autonomy, and tackle societal challenges.
