WENET AT AAU COPENHAGEN

At AAU Copenhagen, we are all part of the same community, a small campus where we see each other daily at the canteen or while walking by the glass tunnel. However, we all have diverse backgrounds, interests, and abilities. Within the WeNet project, we make technology to build on our diversity so that all of us can benefit from our differences.

We invite you to participate in a paid experiment with the we@AAU chat app between 10th October and 6th November 2022. You will interact with other AAU Copenhagen students through the chat application during this time by asking or answering their questions. You can ask about anything, whether it is university life, metaphysics, or personal recommendations. The chat application runs on Telegram (an instant messaging app like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, WeChat or Signal).

People in previous pilot studies have reported that it was a fun activity during their everyday lives that generated a different form of engagement than traditional chat apps.

The study runs from 10th October to 6th November 2022, and the first hundred people active with the chat app within this period will receive a compensation of 300 DKK. In addition, there will be a final randomised drawing of five prizes of 600 DKK among the most active participants throughout the entire study.

UPDATE – THE PILOT IS NOW CLOSED
